Good Morning,
You've already heard about my trip to Panama City, but today I want to show you pictures of the classes. There was 19 in the May Baskets Class on Friday and 20 in the Aunt Ree's Raspberry Jam class on Saturday. I was warned that not very many would be in primitive colors, but I love when people think outside the box and do it their way. I hope you enjoy seeing all the pictures.
The car was packed with no view out the back. Everyone was surprised I had over 100 quilts packed along with patterns and goodies to sell while I was there.
I stayed at a lovely hotel which was close to the church where the lecture and classes were held.
Friday the class worked on May Baskets. It was exciting to see their colors and sizes. Some reduced the pattern, which was very fun to see.
Tracy decided to downsize her May Baskets - which turned out lovely.
Some of the gals had to leave early so a group picture wasn't taken of the May Baskets group. A lot of the gals that took this class came back on Saturday and worked on Aunt Ree's Raspberry Jam. Here are their pictures.
Connie chose to make her Aunt Ree's Raspberry Jam a smaller size. It turned out charming.
To all the gals at the St. Andrews Bay Quilt Guild. Thank you so much for making me feel so welcomed! I had the best time while I was there. I can't wait to see your finished projects. Many of the gals left the class with 4 of the 9 blocks completed. It was a good sewing day!
