New patterns coming your way..........

Good Morning! I'm excited to share a couple new patterns with you.  Cooler weather and fall colors always makes me happy.    The new covers should be ready soon, but you know I can't keep a secret very long when new quilts are coming your way.  So, here's a sneak peak of the quilt projects...(I am unable to post them on my website because it's still under construction).

There will be a one quilt pattern - Rumble Seat - and there will be one bundled set which will include a wall hanging, a table rug and a rotary cutter holder.

Rumble Seat - 68 inches square - Stars and 9 patches come together with sashing between the blocks and around the blocks.  It's finished off with blocks around the outside edge.   It's easy and it's fun and uses scraps right from your stash!  Pattern is $10.00
Katherine did a remarkable job with the machine quilting!
Thank you!

The bundled pattern will have 3 projects - Gabriel - a small wall hanging, Glory - a table rug and a rotary cutter holder, pattern will be $10.00

                                                              Gabriel

Glory

Rotary Cutter Holder
All three have an angel, log cabin theme to them!

Be the first to own both! You can pre-order both of these patterns today!

While picking out fabric for kits......

for the classes I'll be teaching at the Georgia Quilt Show, I found it was easier to take the fabrics down off the shelves and look through them.  Of course, while doing that look what happened?  Cleaned up shelves for me!  Life is good!

Yellows - from light cream to dark yellow (brown)

The blues got a new shelf that had warped...
Thanks Pa!  You are the best!

Well, it's almost done!  Green & Orange are next!
Thanks for all the inspiration to do this from hearing from so many of you on facebook that were cleaning up their space..........Kits are in the works and I'm excited about teaching in Georgia next month!  Until next time,

AND THE WINNER IS............

Thanks to everyone that helped naming a new quilt that will be introduced to you shortly.  It's at the machine quilter's as we speak!  I love all the names that you posted.
I had two names in mind (Rumble Seat and Copper Stars) and a couple of you came up with the same name, so I thought since we were on the same page, I'd go with that.

Congratulations to Cathi Gainey and Judy Knorr
who both had the name

RUMBLE SEAT

It's short and catchy and although the coppers were a treat....actually getting to ride in that rumble seat was the younger children's idea of fun.

Cathi and Judy you will receive a free copy of the pattern with your names as co-namer's of the quilt.   Thanks so much!!

I can't wait to introudce you to Rumble Seat........Watch for a picture coming soon and for when you can order it as well.  (I am still not able to work on my website!  Note to self........contact them to see what's up with that?!)

Until next time,
Lynda

For Kendall - Aunt Ree's Raspberry Jam

Kendall, my 2nd cousin, wrote to me saying we were related, but we've never met.  lol
Sheila, kendall's mom is my cousin and Kendall is her daughter.  How fun to get a note from Kendall regarding this quilt which is about her gramma, (my Aunt Ree).  Aunt Ree's Raspberry Jam has always been a popular quilt among my pattern line.  I think the complimentary colors - purple/yellow - are what set this quilt off.

If you visit my website....http://www.primitivepiecesbylynda.com
and click on the parlor room button you can see other people's version of this quilt.

Thanks Kendall for bringing this to my attention...........Aunt Ree would be so proud of her quilt.  Uncle Jim (your grampa) was also featured in "The Old Nag", "Fiddlin Around" and Jeeper's Creepers"  - these can also be seeing on my website.
http://www.primitivepiecesbylynda.com.  in either the keeping room or the patterns page.
