I love the snowmen piece, still waiting for my issue.
That is something I will definitely make.

Hmm, have to think about that one, lol.

I think you are going on a retreat...hence the 'Play Date', the quilters are of questionable repute hence 'the painted ladies' and the retreat is at an old saw mill! How did I do? Well I tried....have a good one!

you're going on a retreat, maybe to San Francisco, where the Victorian Houses are called Painted Ladies. And while there, everyone will go on a field trip to Sutter's Mill, a historical sawmill located north of Sacramento.

A painted lady is a Oregon wildflower, Oregon has lots of saw mills, so are you planning a 'play date' somewhere in Oregon. If so sure hope it's close to where I live.

A lovely bed and breakfast in a victorian home, in an historic area. A time of sharing and blessing with your friends.

Hmmm, just a guess, but are they all quilt pattern names? Please?? LOL!

You are going to build (saw mill) a Victorian doll house (painted lady) with your grandkids (play date) ???
Whatever it is, I bet it will be fun. =)

You've arranged a play date to catch butterflies (Painted Lady) near the saw mill?

Of course, they could also be the names of your new spring quilt patterns!

I was thinking along Marian's lines.....names of new patterns!!! Looking forward to them whatever they are!

I agree with Laura...they are the names of the new patterns and I can't WAIT to see them!

I think it has to do with a field trip to do research for future projects!

a lady who paints with fabric, meeting up with her other "painted lady" friends at the old saw mill (now a wonderful place for a retreat) for their regularly scheduled "playdate" to paint everything in sight with all of the fabrics they could haul in!
Sounds like a good time in the old town tonight!!!

I know this is what several others have guessed, but I'm thinking they all have to do with new patterns and their names. It'll be fun to see if anyone guessed the right answer.

Oregon has a flower called a painted lady,The sawmill would be where you are going, the play date has something to do with a retreat or classes with a 'prim' feel. There are a few 'prim' designers in Oregon too!

Just got my Primitive Quilts and Projects 1st issue, LOVE your COLD DAYS design ~ and I live in Florida, too! ( met you last yr @ Prims of the Midwest, so much fun)!
I'm going to guess that you are planning a retreat, at a Victorian home near a saw mill or is it as simple as they each have 2 words in the name?! :)
would love to win your patterns, love all of yours! Debbie :)

A 'painted lady' is the house that is on the hill overlooking a fabric mill by the river while little girls are playing with the fabric pieces by the mill. I know it's a lot but you could break it up and make it a series.L

What an interesting question to think about. No idea.
Love your runner in the new magazine I just purchased.

Hi Lynda, hope you had a Easter Blessing today.
The Sawmill and Painted Lady, and Play Date are the names of your new spring patterns.

Love your pattern in the new prim mag, need to get back to stitching.

saw mill and play dates have in common to me....saw mill reminds me of my father in law who recently passed away. He was a contractor and built/remodeled/repaired anything he could find. He was always covered in sawdust! :) playdate reminds me of my children always playing near him, they always liked to be with Grampa and "like" grampa. they loved him so!! They were always his good buddies!! A good day was one spent with Grampa building/cutting wood with him. Thanks for considering this. Deb C from Michigan
