I wanted to share a honor that was given to me by our French Quilting Sisters.
In the September issue of the Quilt Country magazine, my friend, Veronique from France, wrote an article about me and Primitive Pieces by Lynda.
Although it's in french and I can't read it...lol....I am so happy to have been chosen to have this written. Thank you so much Vero!
and the story continues on the right hand side of page 3...
I don't know the people in this picture, but that beautiful dog in the upper left hand corner is Lizzy and she's Vero's right hand gal.
From the link below you can see some of the pages from this delightful magazine.

I can understand some french, but you could type in the paragraphs online and find out what it says. What an honor, congratulations!
Debbie
I don't speak French, either. (And some days not very good at English!) but congratulations. You're famous in at least 2 countries now!

Your aunt Ree is my Great Grandmother, (was) Grandma Cameron to me.(and also Grandpa Jim) When we read about your quilter friends who chose Rees rasberry jam to make it made me Smile. My mom then explained who and Ree was. Sheila Geddes is my mother. She has some of your patterens. I love the stories behind them!!!

dd - thank you...I did understand what you were saying. Thank you so much! Lynda
Hi Kendall, I do know who you are even if we haven't met. I've seen pictures of you....not sure who sent them, but could have been your gramma (my Aunt Ree!) or your mom or Aunt Pam. Your gramma and grampa were very special to us and I'm sure to you as well. Aunt Ree's Raspberry Jam pattern has been very popular. I'll post a picture on my blog so other's can see what we're talking about. My sister, Sharron, was the one that always called her Aunt Ree and it stuck! We loved having them visit Florida. Hope to meet you some day as well. Hi to your Mom.. I so think she is one of the best braided rug makers I've ever seen.
Hugs, your 2nd cousin, Lynda
